In 2025, Norwegian Breakaway<\/a> will not cross the Atlantic.<\/p>\n

Guests booked on the sailing have been notified that it will no longer depart on February 7 of that year.<\/p>\n

According to the company, the cancellation is due to a change of location for upcoming technical maintenance on the ship.<\/p>\n

Norwegian Cruise Line<\/a> stated, “We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.”.<\/p>\n

The guest fare paid at the time of the reservation will be fully refunded in the form of payment provided.<\/p>\n

It will take Norwegian 30 business days to process the refunds automatically without any further action from passengers.<\/p>\n

Those who paid the reservation with a previously issued Future Cruise Credit (FCC) will have the credit reapplied to their Latitudes account in full.<\/p>\n

The affected guests are also eligible for a further 10 percent discount on the Norwegian Cruise Line. As an FCC issued for future voyages, the credit may be applied toward any published sailings until December 31, 2025.<\/p>\n

The cruise was scheduled to sail from Miami to Spain with an overnight stop at Ponta Delgada, the largest island in Portugal’s Azores archipelago.<\/p>\n

There were nine full days at sea before arriving in Barcelona on the 12-night itinerary.<\/p>\n

A series of five-to-11 cruises will be offered by the Norwegian Breakaway departing from Port Miami<\/a> during the winter of 2024-2025. Some ports, including Barbados<\/a>, San Juan<\/a>, and Great Stirrup Cay, will be visited.<\/p>\n

A series of Mediterranean itineraries will be offered by the 2013-built cruise ship after it is repositioned to Europe for the 2025 summer.<\/p>\n

Visiting popular destinations in the region, including Naples, Barcelona, Cannes, Corfu, Dubrovnik, Malta, Spain, France, Greece, Croatia, and more, the nine- or 11-night cruises visit Italy, Spain, France, Greece, Croatia, and Malta.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
