In preparation for its newest ship, Carnival Jubilee<\/a>, the cruise line has named its senior officers.<\/p>\n

Senior officers on board the ship will be Captain Andrea Catalani, the Chief Engineer Vittorino Perasole, and the Hotel Director Pierre Camilleri, according to the cruise line.<\/p>\n

With nearly 70 years of combined experience, these senior officers will provide knowledge and inspiration to more than 1,700 colleagues on Carnival Jubilee, said Carnival Cruise Line<\/a> president Christine Duffy. Additionally, they will take excellent care of our guests.”<\/p>\n

In 2018, Captain Catalani led the Carnival Vista’s<\/a> homeporting team in Galveston as the ship’s captain. He previously commanded the Carnival Vista. It has been almost 24 years since he began working for Carnival.<\/p>\n

During my time on board Carnival Jubilee, I have the privilege of leading a team of professionals who will soon be aboard one of the most innovative Carnival ships<\/a> to visit Galveston.<\/p>\n

We are very proud of our team’s professional accomplishments. Our guests in Galveston can’t wait to see this beautiful new ship when we take delivery.”<\/p>\n

From 1998 to 2014, Perasole led several teams as chief engineer at Carnival, working his way up from third engineer. As a carnival employee, he worked on Carnival Dream<\/a>, Carnival Pride<\/a>, Carnival Radiance<\/a>, Carnival Breeze<\/a>, and Carnival Celebration<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Camilleri joined the company in 2004 as director of the hotel. His experience includes serving as hotel director on several Carnival ships, including the Carnival Breeze, Carnival Vista, Carnival Horizon<\/a>, as well as Carnival’s Mardi Gras<\/a> and Celebration ships.<\/p>\n

It will launch its first cruise from Galveston, Texas, on Dec 23, 2023, after undergoing construction at Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
