The Queen Anne, Cunard’s<\/a> upcoming ship, offers a glimpse at its wellness offerings.<\/p>\n

The Fincantieri Marghera shipyard in Venice is currently building the ship, and Cunard invited a group of travel agent partners for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour. Captain Inger Thorhauge, who will captain the inaugural voyage from Southampton to Lisbon on May 3, 2024, led the tour.<\/p>\n

In conjunction with its reimagined Mareel Wellness & Beauty concept, Queen Anne will offer a range of fitness, beauty, thermal, and spa facilities. There will be a variety of crafted experiences designed for both the body and the soul, such as cryotherapy treatments, Himalayan salt saunas, and cold rooms.<\/p>\n

With a glass dome roof that retracts into warmer areas, The Pavilion is one of the ship’s wellness spaces on the top deck. There will be a top deck Wellness Studio that is open from sunrise to sunset, along with a Wellness Caf\u00e9 where guests can enjoy seasonal meals.<\/p>\n

As part of Queen Anne’s Wellness Club, solo travelers will be able to relax and unwind together on embarkation night at a meet-and-greet.<\/p>\n

Cunard’s president, Katie McAlister, said: “Over the past 180 years, we have refined the definitive experience of luxury ocean travel, and I am thrilled that we are just six months away from starting the next chapter. Fincantieri shipyard’s craftsmen, engineers, and workforce have made remarkable progress, and we can already see that Queen Anne will become a truly magnificent queen as her interiors begin to take shape.
