Each type is made for different groups of people who want specific things from their cruise experience.<\/p>\n<h2>Here are the new ships that have been delivered since January:<\/h2>\n<h3>1. Icon of the Seas<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cruise Line:<\/strong> Royal Caribbean International<\/li>\n<li><strong>How Many People:<\/strong> Up to 5,610 guests<\/li>\n<li><strong>Size:<\/strong> 250,800 tons<\/li>\n<li><strong>Where It Was Made:<\/strong> Meyer Turku (Finland)<\/li>\n<li><strong>When It Set Sail:<\/strong> November<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <a title=\"Icon of the Seas Cruise Ship\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cruisebooking.com\/ships\/icon-of-the-seas\">Icon of the Seas<\/a> joined Royal Caribbean International&#8217;s fleet in November. It&#8217;s a massive ship, the largest cruise in the world right now, weighing around 250,000 tons. Currently, it&#8217;s getting its final touches at a shipyard in Spain and will start its first voyages in the Caribbean in late January.<\/p>\n<h3>2. MSC Euribia<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cruise Line:<\/strong> MSC Cruises<\/li>\n<li><strong>How Many People:<\/strong> Up to 4,888 guests<\/li>\n<li><strong>Size:<\/strong> 177,100 tons<\/li>\n<li><strong>Where It Was Made:<\/strong> Chantiers de l\u2019Atlantique (France)<\/li>\n<li><strong>When It Set Sail:<\/strong> May<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The MSC Euribia started sailing for <a title=\"MSC Cruises\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cruisebooking.com\/cruise-lines\/msc-cruises\">MSC Cruises<\/a> in June. This ship was built in France and runs on LNG (liquefied natural gas). Right now, it&#8217;s taking people on trips across Western and Northern Europe.<\/p>\n<h3>3. Silver Nova<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cruise Line:<\/strong> Silversea Cruises<\/li>\n<li><strong>How Many People:<\/strong> Up to 728 guests<\/li>\n<li><strong>Size:<\/strong> 54,700 tons<\/li>\n<li><strong>Where It Was Made:<\/strong> Meyer Werft (Germany)<\/li>\n<li><strong>When It Set Sail:<\/strong> July<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Silver Nova marked a new era for <a title=\"Silversea Cruises\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cruisebooking.com\/cruise-lines\/silversea\">Silversea Cruises<\/a> when it was delivered in July. This ship, powered by LNG, is considered the world&#8217;s greenest cruise ship. It&#8217;s got some cool new features, like fuel cells for power and a unique design for its public areas.<\/p>\n<h3>4. This big ship, part of the XL-Class, started its first cruise from Galveston, Texas, on December 23rd.<\/p>\n<h3>5.\u00a0 Explora I<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cruise Line:<\/strong> Explora Journeys<\/li>\n<li><strong>How Many People:<\/strong> Up to 922 guests<\/li>\n<li><strong>Size:<\/strong> 64,000 tons<\/li>\n<li><strong>Where It Was Made:<\/strong> Fincantieri (Italy)<\/li>\n<li><strong>When It Set Sail:<\/strong> July<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Explora Journeys introduced luxury cruising with the Explora I in August. It&#8217;s the first of six ships ordered by MSC Cruises Group for this upscale brand. After its European debut, it moved to North America for the winter season.<\/p>\n<h3>6. Norwegian Viva<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cruise Line:<\/strong> Norwegian Cruise Line<\/li>\n<li><strong>How Many People:<\/strong> Up to 3,215 guests<\/li>\n<li><strong>Size:<\/strong> 140,000 tons<\/li>\n<li><strong>Where It Was Made:<\/strong> Fincantieri (Italy)<\/li>\n<li><strong>When It Set Sail:<\/strong> August<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Norwegian Viva, the second Prima-Class ship in Norwegian Cruise Line&#8217;s fleet, started cruising in the Mediterranean in August after being built in Italy.<\/p>\n<h3>7. Adora Magic City<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cruise Line:<\/strong> Adora Cruises<\/li>\n<li><strong>How Many People:<\/strong> Up to 5,000 guests<\/li>\n<li><strong>Size:<\/strong> 135,000 tons<\/li>\n<li><strong>Where It Was Made:<\/strong> Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding (China)<\/li>\n<li><strong>When It Set Sail:<\/strong> December<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Adora Cruises made history with the Adora Magic City, the first huge cruise ship made by a Chinese shipyard. It&#8217;s all set to start sailing in early January after being entirely built in Shanghai.<\/p>\n<h3>8. Vista<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cruise Line:<\/strong> Oceania Cruises<\/li>\n<li><strong>How Many People:<\/strong> Up to 1,200 guests<\/li>\n<li><strong>Size:<\/strong> 67,000 tons<\/li>\n<li><strong>Where It Was Made:<\/strong> Fincantieri (Italy)<\/li>\n<li><strong>When It Set Sail:<\/strong> May<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Oceania Cruises welcomed Vista this year after a ten-year wait. This premium ship started in Europe and is now heading to North America for winter.<\/p>\n<h3>9.
