This 47,000-ton luxury vessel, which is the sixth oceangoing ship in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cruisebooking.com\/cruise-lines\/viking-ocean-cruises\/ships\">Viking&#8217;s fleet<\/a>, made its debut following the Viking Orion, constructed in 2018. It was crafted at the Fincantieri shipyard in Ancona, Italy.<br \/>\nShortly after delivery, the Viking Jupiter began its first season in Southern Europe, launching a seven-night maiden voyage from Civitavecchia, Italy, to Barcelona, Spain. The journey included stops in additional Italian, French, and Monacan ports such as Livorno, Monte Carlo, Marseille, and Sete.<\/p>\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-lg-6 offset-lg-3\">\n<div class=\"articles-video-new\">\n        <iframe allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen class=\"hide\" frameborder=\"0\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ILNnFX5-K_I?rel=0&#038;controls=1&#038;showinfo=0&#038;modestbranding=1\" title=\"YouTube video player\"><\/iframe>\n      <\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Throughout late April, the ship continued to navigate Mediterranean waters, visiting countries like Greece, Israel, Cyprus, Montenegro, and Croatia. Following its Mediterranean circuit, the Jupiter embarked on a summer schedule in Northern Europe before moving to South America for its inaugural winter season. During this time, it marked Viking&#8217;s first venture into the region, offering 17-night cruises exploring the Chilean Fjords and Patagonia from December 2019 to February 2020<br \/>\nFor summer 2024, the Viking Jupiter plans to return to the Mediterranean, providing a range of cruises between seven and 28 nights from Spain, Italy, Turkey, and Greece. In November, the ship will head back to South America for its fourth winter season, featuring traditional itineraries and trans-Atlantic crossings that include stops in Brazil, Cape Verde, and Morocco.<br \/>\nAccording to Fincantieri, the ship adheres to the latest navigational regulations and is fitted with advanced safety systems, including capabilities for safe return to port. It boasts 465 staterooms, all with verandas, and offers several public spaces designed with a Scandinavian aesthetic, emphasizing natural light and outdoor dining options.
