HX disclosed that unforeseen technical repairs required during the planned drydock stay in Panama would prevent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cruisebooking.com\/ships\/ms-roald-amundsen\">Roald Amundsen<\/a> from arriving on time for the scheduled expeditions.<\/p>\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-lg-6 offset-lg-3\">\n<div class=\"articles-video-new\">\n        <iframe allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen class=\"hide\" frameborder=\"0\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/rwJIt1y3jf8?rel=0&#038;controls=1&#038;showinfo=0&#038;modestbranding=1\" title=\"YouTube video player\"><\/iframe>\n      <\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>As a result, HX stated that it made the difficult decision to cancel the upcoming expedition trips scheduled to depart on May 12 and 28, 2024. The company expressed its regret, \u201cWe understand and share your disappointment with this news and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The canceled cruises were to travel one way between Seward and Vancouver over 12 nights and visit various locations in Alaska and British Columbia, including Alert Bay, Misty Fjord, Wrangell, Petersburg, Sitka, and Haines.<\/p>\n<p>HX has offered guests the option to reschedule their reservations to new dates. The company expects the Roald Amundsen to resume service by June 10, 2024, when it is scheduled to depart from Vancouver for a 12-night <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cruisebooking.com\/destinations\/alaska\/cruises-to-alaska\">cruise to Alaska<\/a> and British Columbia.
