Viking Sky or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cruisebooking.com\/ships\/viking-neptune\">Viking Neptune<\/a> will set sail on December 20 and 23 for the 138-day, 57-port voyage.<\/p>\n<p>After moving through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cruisebooking.com\/destinations\/panama-canal\">Panama Canal<\/a>, passing up the West Coast and crossing the Pacific via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cruisebooking.com\/destinations\/hawaii\">Hawaii<\/a>, the ships head south to Central America. After Asia, calls arrive in the Middle East, passing through the Mediterranean.<\/p>\n<p>A shorter, 163-day sailing will be available from Los Angeles in January, and the ship will finish in New York in June. In 2024, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cruisebooking.com\/ships\/viking-sky\">Viking Sky<\/a> will sail for 180 days from Port Everglades in December.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, Torstein Hagen, chairman, said: &#8220;Our previous world cruise sold out in a matter of weeks.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"articles-video text-center\"><iframe class=\"hide\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/cedrQKiPCXg\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>The voyages for Viking Expedition ships have also been rebranded. This company offers &#8220;Longitudinal World Cruises,&#8221; sailing back and forth between Antarctica and the Great Lakes.<\/p>\n<p>From 65 days to 71 days, each sailing covers the South American west coast, Panama Canal, Caribbean and east coast of North America.<\/p>\n<p>As part of its 138-day world cruise, Viking Neptune was christened this month in Los Angeles. In the late spring, as the world cruise ends in May, the ship sails a number of unique itineraries in Northern Europe and crosses to New York.<\/p>\n<p>Iceland, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cruisebooking.com\/destinations\/greenland\">Greenland<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cruisebooking.com\/destinations\/canada\">Canada<\/a> are all included in a 14-night crossing. As the ship cruises through Canada and New England early in the summer, it sails from New York to Montreal for 10 nights. According to previous deployments, the ship would call in Saint Petersburg while sailing Baltic capitals.<\/p>\n<p>From New York to Bergen, guests can expect a 28-night cruise (shorter segments are also available). She will reach Svalbard and position the ship for the European Mediterranean season in late summer and fall.<\/p>\n<p>A Viking Saturn is also delivered this spring by Fincantieri.<\/p>\n<p>Cruises to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cruisebooking.com\/departure-ports\/barcelona\">Barcelona<\/a> and Iceland are followed by a seven-night <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cruisebooking.com\/destinations\/western-mediterranean\">Western Mediterranean<\/a> debut cruise.
