The Celebrity Silhouette<\/a> arrived in Reykjavik earlier this month to commence a brief season of seven-night cruises circumnavigating Iceland. This Solstice-class ship will depart with a roundtrip from Reykjavik. The itineraries feature visits to Seydisfjordur, Isafjord, and an overnight stay in Akureyri. This offers guests access to Iceland\u2019s stunning ports, historic landmarks, and rich cultural experiences.<\/p>\n

Four sailings are scheduled between July 18 and August 8, 2025, followed by a 13-night repositioning cruise to Boston. After arriving in North America, this Celebrity Cruises ship will embark on a fall foliage season in Canada and New England, sailing roundtrip from Flynn Cruise port Boston through early October. These cruises will visit destinations including Quebec City, Charlottetown, Halifax, Sydney, Rockland, and Portland.<\/p>\n

For the 2025-26 winter season, the ship will reposition to Fort Lauderdale to offer Caribbean cruises. In 2026, the Celebrity Silhouette will operate a spring season in Bermuda before returning to Iceland in July for an extended season. This will include seven cruises from Reykjavik, highlighted by an \u201cIceland Total Solar Eclipse\u201d voyage in early August, designed to provide guests with a prime vantage point at sea to witness the solar eclipse.<\/p>\n

Built in 2011 at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany, the Celebrity Silhouette is the fourth ship in Celebrity\u2019s Solstice Class. Alongside the Silhouette, the Celebrity Eclipse also recently visited Iceland during an 11-night cruise from Amsterdam, with stops in Isafjord, Reykjavik, Akureyri, and ports in the British Isles.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
