Carnival Cruise Line has announced itinerary changes for a select number of 2026 cruises. The updates affect nine sailings across five ships, including the Carnival Sunrise, Carnival Glory, Carnival Elation, Carnival Pride, and Carnival Freedom.<\/p>\n
According to a statement shared with booked guests, the changes range from revised port times to adjustments in the sequence of visits. Some cruises will also see substitutions of ports of call. Carnival noted that these changes are relatively minor and are designed to improve the sailing schedules.<\/p>\n
The Carnival Sunrise saw the largest number of adjustments, with three of its sailings updated. The cruise departing from Port Miami on January 24, 2026, will now be called Half Moon Cay instead of Princess Cays.<\/p>\n
The February 7, 2026, voyage is still scheduled to visit Celebration Key, but on a different day than originally planned. Another sailing, scheduled for March 7, 2026, will also have altered port times, along with a new day allocated for the visit to Half Moon Cay.<\/p>\n
The Carnival Glory also had two of its departures revised. The seven-night cruise sailing on February 16, 2026, will continue to visit Nassau, but the stop will now take place on a different day. Later in the year, the ship\u2019s October 16, 2026, itinerary was adjusted, with the visit to Celebration Key rescheduled to a new date.<\/p>\n
Carnival Elation, sailing from Jacksonville, experienced more significant changes. February 9, 2026, departure has been fully revised, now featuring visits to Celebration Key, Princess Cays, and Grand Turk. A second sailing onboard the vessel, set to depart on February 16, 2026, will no longer stop at Freeport, but instead will make a call at Celebration Key.<\/p>\n
The Carnival Pride, based in Baltimore, will see its seven-night Bahamas sailing updated as well. The ship will now replace Princess Cays with Half Moon Cay. In addition, the date for its scheduled visit to Nassau has been adjusted.<\/p>\n
Carnival Freedom is also part of these updates. Its February 14, 2026, cruise will still include a stop at Celebration Key, but the day of the visit has been changed.<\/p>\n
Carnival confirmed that all shore excursions purchased through the cruise line will be automatically adjusted to match the new itineraries. For excursions tied to ports that have been cancelled, guests will receive full refunds to their original form of payment.<\/p>\n
These changes are part of ongoing adjustments to ensure smooth sailing schedules for guests.
