MSC Cruises has confirmed that MSC Meraviglia will sail in the Southern Caribbean for the first time during the 2027\u201328 winter season, marking a major shift in the ship\u2019s deployment plans.<\/p>\n

The 2017-built cruise ship will reach the region after completing a special transatlantic repositioning voyage in early November 2027, sailing from Europe to the Caribbean ahead of its winter schedule.<\/p>\n

This 14-night repositioning cruise will depart from Southampton and feature a mix of European, Atlantic, and Caribbean destinations, giving guests a long itinerary filled with varied ports and sea days.<\/p>\n

Before crossing the Atlantic, the ship is scheduled to call at Le Havre in France, followed by a stop at Ponta Delgada in the Azores, offering a scenic start to the extended journey.<\/p>\n

After reaching the Caribbean, MSC Meraviglia<\/a> will visit St. John\u2019s in Antigua, Kingstown in Saint Vincent, and Bridgetown in Barbados before arriving at its destination in Martinique.<\/p>\n

The ship is set to arrive in Fort-de-France, Martinique, where it will begin its winter operations in the Southern Caribbean, opening a new chapter for the popular Meraviglia-class vessel.<\/p>\n

From late November 2027, MSC Meraviglia will offer weeklong cruises departing from Martinique and Guadeloupe, with sailings scheduled to begin on November 20 and November 21, respectively.<\/p>\n

These seven-night cruises are expected to focus on Southern Caribbean ports. However, full itinerary details, including port rotations and onboard programs, will be shared closer to the launch date.<\/p>\n

Before its Caribbean debut, MSC Meraviglia will continue its busy schedule across multiple regions, following several years of service sailing from New York City and other North American homeports.<\/p>\n

The ship is scheduled to return to the Western Mediterranean for a summer season, offering weeklong cruises visiting Spain, Italy, Tunisia, and France through the end of October 2026.<\/p>\n

After completing its Mediterranean sailings, MSC Meraviglia will reposition to Miami for the 2026\u201327 winter season, continuing its role in MSC Cruises<\/a>\u2019 North American deployment.<\/p>\n

In mid-April 2026, the vessel will also conclude MSC\u2019s farewell season in the U.S. Northeast before relocating to Southern Europe as part of its wider repositioning schedule.<\/p>\n

During the summer of 2027, MSC Meraviglia will replace MSC Virtuosa<\/a> in the United Kingdom, operating a series of cruises departing from Southampton for British and European travelers.<\/p>\n

MSC Meraviglia was the first ship in the Meraviglia class, built at the Chantiers de l\u2019Atlantique shipyard in France, and entered service in early 2017 as one of MSC\u2019s flagship vessels.<\/p>\n

Four sister ships later joined the class, including MSC Bellissima<\/a>, MSC Grandiosa<\/a>, MSC Virtuosa, and MSC Euribia<\/a>, expanding the fleet with similar designs and upgraded onboard features.<\/p>\n
