Royal Caribbean International has announced an itinerary update for a future sailing of Symphony of the Seas. The change has been made due to safe speed restrictions that affect the ship\u2019s schedule.<\/p>\n

The update applies to the cruise scheduled to depart from Port Miami<\/a> on February 15, 2026. Guests who are already booked on this sailing have received formal notice from the cruise line explaining the adjustment.<\/p>\n

In its message, Royal Caribbean<\/a> shared that the change is part of its regular itinerary planning process. The company stated that the update is necessary to maintain smooth operations while meeting required safe speed guidelines during the voyage.<\/p>\n

The main change affects the ship\u2019s departure time from Nassau, Bahamas. While the ship was originally planned to leave Nassau at 6:00 PM, it will now depart earlier at 4:30 PM. Royal Caribbean confirmed that all other ports and scheduled days on the itinerary will remain unchanged.<\/p>\n

The cruise line also addressed how this adjustment may affect guests who have booked shore excursions. Royal Caribbean said its shore excursion team will automatically review all prepaid excursions purchased through the company that could be impacted by the earlier departure.<\/p>\n

If an excursion can be adjusted to fit the new schedule, it will be rescheduled automatically. If an excursion cannot be adjusted, it will be cancelled.<\/p>\n

The Symphony of the Seas<\/a> sailing offers a seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruise<\/a>. Along with Nassau, the itinerary includes stops in St. Maarten and St. Thomas. Guests will visit Philipsburg in St. Maarten and Charlotte Amalie in St. Thomas.<\/p>\n

The cruise also includes three full days at sea, giving guests time to enjoy the ship\u2019s onboard entertainment, dining venues, and amenities.<\/p>\n

The Royal Caribbean expressed regret for any inconvenience caused by the change. The message sent to guests was signed by Aurora Yera-Rodriguez, the company\u2019s Assistant Vice President of Guest Experiences.<\/p>\n

During the winter season, Symphony of the Seas continues to sail from Port Miami, offering a series of week-long cruises to the Caribbean<\/a> and the Bahamas<\/a>. These sailings remain popular with travelers looking for warm-weather vacations.<\/p>\n

Later in the year, the ship will change homeports. In early May, the Oasis-class vessel is scheduled to be repositioned to Galveston, Texas. From there, it will begin year-round sailings to destinations in the Western Caribbean<\/a> and Mexico<\/a>.<\/p>\n
