What the “From Sea to Shining Sea” Crest Shows<\/h2>\n

The new crest carries the name “From Sea to Shining Sea.” The design honors Carnival’s link to the United States. Carnival drew inspiration from the song “America the Beautiful.” The crest highlights the scenery and oceans Carnival shares with guests nationwide.<\/p>\n

The Carnival Legend<\/a> became the first ship to wear the new emblem. The ship returned to service on Wednesday after a 16-day drydock in Freeport, the Bahamas. Carnival placed the debut right before Memorial Day weekend, a holiday honoring the people who served in the U.S. armed forces.<\/p>\n

Which Ships Get the New Crest<\/h2>\n

Carnival will add the crest to its U.S. ships during scheduled drydocks, and the design will appear on new builds. Two ships skip the crest: Carnival Jubilee and the upcoming Carnival Tropicale, arriving in 2028. Both display the Texas star on their bows, a nod to their Galveston homeport.<\/p>\n
