According to a press release from the company, Princess is the first cruise line to launch this kind of integration.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There is a broader shift in travel discovery as consumers increasingly use generative AI not simply to find information, but to help evaluate choices and plan increasingly complex trips,&#8221; said Neena Vicente, Princess Cruises&#8217; vice president of digital commerce and experience. &#8220;This launch places Princess at the forefront of agentic commerce in the cruising industry, creating a new entry point into cruise discovery that inspires guests to find the vacation that is right for them.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Through the app, guests are able to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Search for cruises by destination, date and length<\/li>\n<li>Compare Princess itineraries and ships<\/li>\n<li>Look into ports, shore excursions, cruisetours, onboard experiences and packages<\/li>\n<li>Check current pricing and availability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The tool is built to let travelers keep refining their search naturally within the same chat. As an example, someone researching an Alaska cruise could follow up by asking which sailings stop at Glacier Bay National Park, which ones leave from Seattle, or how two specific itineraries compare to one another.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;re building ChatGPT to help people move from discovery to action.
