Mariotti Shipyard in Italy.<\/p>\n<p>Having been delivered to the company in February 2003, the 700-guest ship was christened in Monaco before her first paying guests arrived in May.<\/p>\n<div class=\"articles-video text-center\"><iframe class=\"hide\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/QWcGoOEbboA\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Monaco&#8217;s then Crown Prince Albert Grimaldi attended the ceremony at the Port of Monte Carlo that marked the ship&#8217;s inaugural season.<\/p>\n<p>It was not long after the event that the Seven Seas Voyager sailed from Monaco on a 12-night itinerary through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cruisebooking.com\/destinations\/mediterranean\">Mediterranean<\/a> to Venice, Italy.<\/p>\n<p>As part of its maiden summer program, Luxury cruised in<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cruisebooking.com\/destinations\/western-europe\"> western Europe<\/a>, the Mediterranean, and the Baltic again during its maiden summer season.<\/p>\n<p>Before launching in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cruisebooking.com\/destinations\/north-america\">North America<\/a>, the Seven Seas Voyager crossed the Atlantic for the first time in November.<\/p>\n<p>There were several itineraries offered by the vessel in 2003-2004 to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cruisebooking.com\/destinations\/caribbean\">Caribbean<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cruisebooking.com\/destinations\/central-america\">Central America<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cruisebooking.com\/destinations\/panama-canal\">Panama Canal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As Regent&#8217;s previous newbuild, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cruisebooking.com\/ships\/ss-mariner\">Seven Seas Mariner<\/a>, the Seven Seas Voyager shares a similar design.<\/p>\n<p>This 42,363-ton vessel, similar to its fleet mate, was originally designed to offer a high amount of space, as well as private bedrooms and shower rooms.<\/p>\n<p>After extensive renovations over the years, the Seven Seas Voyager was modernized in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>With the $125 million refit program, the ship will be brought up to the standards of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cruisebooking.com\/ships\/ss-explorer\">Seven Seas Explorer<\/a>, the company&#8217;s latest newbuild.<\/p>\n<p>Voyager was given &#8220;the same exemplary attention to detail and elegant style featured on Seven Seas Explorer&#8221; in its 25-day drydock renovation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Seven Seas Voyager is completing 20 years in service this month after setting sail on its inaugural voyage on April 1, 2003.
