Approximately 41,420 berths and 11 ships make up the Royal Caribbean Group’s orderbook, valued at $9.9 billion.<\/p>\n

Royal Caribbean International<\/a>, Celebrity Cruises, Silversea Cruises<\/a>, and TUI Cruises are among the brands to use the newbuilds beginning in 2026.<\/p>\n

According to the Cruise Ship Orderbook, ships average 164,182 tons and cost over $900 million each.<\/p>\n

There are a variety of newbuilds with an average passenger capacity of 3,765; they range from smaller luxury cruise ships to the world’s largest cruise ships.<\/p>\n

The largest orderbook in the group belongs to Royal Caribbean International, with four ships on order. The company’s portfolio also includes the new Icon Class ship, which is under construction at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in France.These ships will debut early next year, including the world’s largest cruise ship, the Icon of the Seas, built by Meyer Tuku in Finland.<\/p>\n

Two sister ships will follow in 2026, along with the 250,000-ton vessel expected to be delivered in late 2023.<\/p>\n

In order to add more ships to its fleet, TUI Cruises follows Royal Caribbean.<\/p>\n

German joint-venture brand Henkel is planning to debut three ships of two different classes in the near future.<\/p>\n

It is scheduled to be delivered by the Meyer Turku shipyard in 2024 and will be the last vessel in a series of seven vessels.<\/p>\n

Two next-gen ships will also be delivered to the brand in 2024 and 2026 from the Fincantieri shipyard. There will be 4,000 guests on board the LNG-powered vessels, which will have a capacity of 161,000 tons.<\/p>\n

Celebrity Cruises<\/a> and Silversea Cruises each have two newbuilds on order, completing the Royal Caribbean Group’s new ship lineup.<\/p>\n

Silversea is debuting a new ship design in 2023 and 2026 and will receive additional Edge Class vessels from the Chantiers de l’Atlantique.<\/p>\n

Silver Nova is currently being constructed at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany. In 2024, the SilverRay will join its sister ship, the 728-guest, 54,700-ton luxury vessel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
