Silversea Cruises<\/a>‘ Silver Moon was the first cruise ship to dock in Tarragona on Thursday, April 6, according to a press release.<\/p>\n

Tarragona was the ship’s first ever port of call, docking at Balears Wharf.<\/p>\n

Barcelona<\/a> was the destination of the Silver Moon<\/a> on its way from Palma de Mallorca.<\/p>\n

An official welcome ceremony was conducted by Port Operations Director, Niria Obiols, who awarded the captain a commemorative plaque in Tarragona<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Port officials expect to welcome 55 cruise ships and 98,000 passengers during the cruise season. April 6 marked the beginning of the season, which will last until December 2023.<\/p>\n
