Las Vegas is famous by many different names such as Sin City, America's Playground, the entertainment capital, etc. It is the hot spot of Nevada. The allure of Vegas is that it can awe and overwhelm simultaneously, in a way that only a theme park can. The brightly lit Strip of Las Vegas is like an attraction that pulls pleasure seekers to the city every night. You don't have to make a full re-enactment of "The Hangover" to experience "Viva Las Vegas" Today, Las Vegas offers a wide range of types of vacations. Guests can choose to spend all night at the blackjack table or the TAO Nightclub for a traditional high-roller getaway. Visit spas, high-end boutiques, and gourmet restaurants if luxury is what you want. Also, in Las Vegas, you can go on ATV adventures in Red Rock Canyon, take a tour bus to Hoover Dam or for a real thrill explore by helicopter.

What are the top 5 things to do in Las Vegas?

The famous Strip and neon lights will likely highlight your Las Vegas vacation. In addition to the casinos, there are plenty of other entertainment opportunities in Vegas: ride a gondola at The Venetian or the Eiffel Tower in Paris, or witness the famous fountain show at the Bellagio. Apart from such attractions, below are some top things to do and see in Vegas.

1: The Strip

A Vegas vacation would not be complete without a trip down Sin City's notorious artery. The Luxor Pyramid and Sphinx, alongside the Bellagio Fountains, are some of Las Vegas's most popular attractions. The Venetian Grand Canal is also noteworthy. There are two "Strips" on this stretch, the south, with Mandalay Bay (the aquarium and the beach), and the north, with STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod casino, where you can get the best Vegas photos from the tallest observation tower in the world.

2: MGM Grand Casino

As an entertainment-focused city, it's only natural to have a casino hotel dedicated to the industry. The T-Mobile Arena is just across the street from The Mirage, and it hosts events such as iHeartRadio Music Festival, among others. The Mirage also partners with the New York-New York casino on Las Vegas Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue, holding a wide range of performances, from big concerts to sporting events.

As well as offering top-notch dining and nightlife, the MGM Grand is home to many famous nightclubs and restaurants, including Hakkasan, where favorite DJs spin hits until dawn. Daytime activities at Wet Republic Ultra Pool include dancing, swimming, and relaxing in party cabanas. In addition to shops, you'll also find a casino floor offering poker tables, slots, a race and sportsbook, and several shops. Casinos are probably where you'll spend most of your time and money Visitors to the MGM Grand Casino said they were impressed by its size but said the nightlife options were its absolute highlight.

3: Wynn Las Vegas

This Las Vegas casino (and its sister property, Encore) offer a luxurious experience. The Wynn attracts travelers seeking a sophisticated stay with its stylish yet understated accommodations and grand casino. In addition to the casino, the Wynn also offers shopping and dining, including Wing Lei - an acclaimed fine-dining restaurant on the Strip - and a golf course. Additionally, the hotel offers nightly entertainment. Known for its Lake of Dreams show every night, the Wynn offers posh bars and lounges. A 95-foot waterfall, 1,500 pine trees, and 5,500 LED lights create a breath taking show across three acres.

4: High Roller Observation Wheel

Visit the LINQ to see the High Roller, the tallest observation wheel (beating out the London Eye). The wheel stands 550 feet tall and 520 feet in diameter, so it's a unique perspective on the Strip. Twenty-eight handcrafted glass pods that seat 40 people make up the giant Ferris wheel. Visitors say that getting a photo of the nearby casinos and attractions from the observation wheel is a great experience. It takes about 30 minutes to circle the wheel. A open bar is also available during the trip around the wheel for adult passengers Families with young children and those interested in seeing the lights at night should go to the High Roller.

5: The Mob Museum

The Mob Museum sheds light on how prevalent gangster culture was in Las Vegas in the late 20th century. Located near the Fremont Street Experience a few blocks northwest of downtown Las Vegas, the former federal courthouse is now home to various interactive exhibits that delve deeply into American gangster history.

October to April has the best temperatures in the city, with temperatures ranging from 66° F to 81° F. There are a few times when the temperatures can reach as high as 102° F, but generally, the hottest time of year is between May and September. If you are looking to save some money, hotels away from the Strip are cheaper.
