Book a Cruise to Bermuda

Bermuda is a popular cruise destination that attracts thousands of tourists every year. The island offers pristine beaches, turquoise waters, and charming colonial architecture, making it an ideal vacation spot for those looking for a tropical getaway.

Where do Bermuda cruises depart from?

If you're planning a Bermuda cruise, one of the first things you need to know is where your ship will depart from. In this blog, we'll explore the different ports of departure for Bermuda cruises.

New York City

New York City is one of the most popular ports of departure for Bermuda cruises, with ships departing from Manhattan's bustling cruise terminal. New York is a major international hub, making it an easy destination to get to for both domestic and international travelers. The city itself offers a wealth of attractions, from the Statue of Liberty to the Empire State Building, so it is worth arriving a few days early to explore before your cruise.

Boston

Boston is another popular port of departure for Bermuda cruises, with ships departing from the Black Falcon Cruise Terminal. The terminal is located in the city's Seaport District, which has undergone significant revitalization in recent years and now offers a range of restaurants, bars, and shops. Boston is steeped in history and offers plenty of attractions, including the Freedom Trail and the USS Constitution Museum.

Baltimore

Baltimore is a convenient departure point for those living on the East Coast of the United States, with ships departing from the port's South Locust Point Terminal. Baltimore is a charming city with a rich maritime history, and there are plenty of attractions to explore before or after your cruise. The Inner Harbor area is particularly popular, with its restaurants, shops, and museums.

Cape Liberty

Cape Liberty is located in Bayonne, New Jersey, and is a convenient departure point for those living in the New York City area. The port is located just across the harbor from Manhattan and offers stunning views of the city skyline. Cape Liberty is a modern facility with plenty of amenities, including a parking garage and shuttle service to nearby airports.

Miami

Miami is a popular departure point for Bermuda cruises, with ships departing from the Port of Miami. The port is located in the heart of Miami's bustling downtown area, which offers a wealth of attractions, including the Miami Design District and the Wynwood Walls street art murals. Miami is also a major hub for international travel, making it an easy destination to get to from around the world.

Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale is another popular departure point for Bermuda cruises, with ships departing from the Port Everglades terminal. The port is located just a short distance from Fort Lauderdale's famous beaches and offers easy access to the city's shopping, dining, and entertainment options.

Once on your cruise, you will stop in beautiful Hamilton.

Hamilton

Hamilton is a must-see location, regardless of where your ship is landing. The island's capital is teeming with activities for day or night, from shopping to sightseeing. You'll be close to the activities because ships usually dock directly on Front Street. But, if your ship is parked at King's Wharf, you might want to take the bus or ferry across. Although we advise exploring this town on foot, you may always board one of the surreys waiting outside the terminal or reserve a seat on the Bermuda Train, which leaves from Albouy's Point down the street.

Make sure to return to Front Street at 6 o'clock, no matter what you do in Hamilton.

Families will love Bermuda because there are so many family-friendly activities there. A sizable variety of tropical marine fish may be seen in the Bermuda Aquarium, Natural History Museum & Zoo in Hamilton, including the North Rock exhibit, a 140,000-gallon tank created as a living facsimile of one of Bermuda's natural coral reefs.

More benefits for families? Because English is widely spoken and beaches are safe and clean, young children won't find the experience to be too alien. It also helps that there are shorter routes departing from easy-to-drive homeports. So plan a vacation here soon with cruisebooking.com.
