Norwegian Cruise Line has announced its new ship, the Norwegian Luna, set to launch in 2026. The Luna will have exciting features, following the design of the Norwegian Aqua, which will debut in 2025.
One standout feature is the Aqua Slide coaster, a hybrid rollercoaster, and waterslide that will be one of the longest and fastest at sea. This thrilling ride wraps around the ship’s funnel and includes dual slides with a magnetic lift.
The ship will also feature the Glow Court, a digital sports complex by day and a nightclub by night. The Drop, a ten-story free-fall slide, will make its return on the Luna as well.
In the luxurious Haven suite area, guests can enjoy the new Three-Bedroom Duplex Haven Suites, offering two stories, three bedrooms, a living and dining area, three bathrooms, and a private balcony.
Other popular spots include Ocean Boulevard, an outdoor walkway wrapping around the ship; Vibe Beach Club, an adults-only lounge; and Infinity Beach, a sun deck near the water.
The Norwegian Luna, currently being built in Italy, will start sailing from Miami on April 4, 2026. It will offer seven-night Caribbean cruises to destinations like Honduras, Mexico, and the Bahamas, including stops at Norwegian’s private island, Great Stirrup Cay.
