MSC Cruises has announced a new multi-year partnership with Tudor Pro Cycling, stepping in as the team’s official main sponsor through the end of the 2027 season. The agreement will make its first public appearance at the 2025 Tour de France, which kicks off on July 5 during the Grand Départ in Lille.
The partnership was formally unveiled today at the Tour de France Official Team Presentation in Lille, where the riders’ new jerseys bearing the MSC Cruises branding were revealed alongside tour buses and support vehicles also emblazoned with the cruise line’s name.
Fans can expect to see the distinctive MSC logo in action as the team embarks on the world’s most prestigious cycling race.
Pierfrancesco Vago, executive chairman of MSC Cruises, expressed his pride in supporting the Swiss-based Tudor team at a pivotal moment: “We are proud to partner with the Tudor Pro Cycling Team as Official Main Partner at the start of this exciting new chapter for the Team as they are participating for the first time in the world’s biggest cycling event,” he said.
Vago added that the collaboration presents an opportunity to introduce the MSC brand to cycling fans worldwide, aligning perfectly with the company’s emphasis on teamwork, excellence, and passion.
Raphael Meyer, CEO of Tudor Pro Cycling, described MSC’s arrival as historic: “We are honored and excited to welcome MSC Cruises as the new Main Partner of Tudor Pro Cycling. Their support comes at a truly historic moment for our team, as we prepare to compete in our very first Tour de France,” he stated.
He emphasized that both organizations share core values, excellence, innovation, and boundary-pushing, which will propel them forward both on and off the road.
MSC Cruises emphasized that this move marks its first foray into professional cycling. It follows other high-profile sports collaborations, including its ongoing sponsorship of Formula 1 races and partnerships with major football clubs.
The cruise line confirmed that its branding would extend across Tudor’s riders’ kits, team buses, and support cars, making a strong visual impact at races throughout the season.
Given that both MSC Cruises and Tudor Pro Cycling are headquartered in Switzerland, the deal reflects a shared national heritage and dedication to high operational standards. Both entities pride themselves on technical expertise, precise planning, and reliable execution, whether navigating ocean routes or chasing peloton glory.
This partnership not only signals a major milestone for Tudor, as it gears up for its first Tour de France, but also marks a significant expansion of MSC’s global brand presence into new sporting arenas. With the 2025 Tour just days away, all eyes will be on Lille, where sailing and sprinting ambitions intersect in this unique collaboration
