Carnival Cancels Firenze Baja Sailings in Fall 2026

By Cruise Booking Team

Carnival Cruise Line has canceled all scheduled Carnival Firenze cruises to Baja, Mexico, between October 12 and November 16, 2026. The affected sailings were supposed to operate as short 3- and 4-night cruises departing from Long Beach, California.

The cruise line confirmed the update and said the cancellation is due to a change in itinerary plans. While Carnival has shared the reason in broad terms, it has not announced what will replace these canceled sailings or whether the ship will be moved to a different itinerary during that period.

Guests Offered Rebooking or Full Refund

Passengers booked on the impacted Carnival Firenze Baja Mexico cruises have already received cancellation notices. Carnival gives travelers two choices. Guests can either rebook another Carnival cruise and keep their cruise fare protected on a comparable sailing in a similar cabin category, or they can choose to receive a full refund.

In addition to protected cruise fares for those who rebook, Carnival is also offering onboard credit as part of the rebooking option. For guests who decide not to reschedule, the company will refund the full cruise fare, as well as any pre-purchased items, back to the original form of payment.

No Replacement Plans Announced Yet for Carnival Firenze

At this stage, Carnival Cruise Line has not revealed any further details about its updated plans for Carnival Firenze. That leaves many travelers wondering whether the ship will get a revised deployment, a different homeport schedule, or temporary operational changes during the canceled period.

What This Means for Travelers

For travelers planning a quick Baja cruise from Long Beach, this cancellation may mean looking at other available Carnival sailings or exploring alternative dates. Guests affected by the change should review Carnival’s communication carefully and decide whether rebooking or taking a refund works best for their travel plans.
