Best Things to do in Singapore

Singapore is known for its abundance of things to do; you will always have plenty to keep you entertained. The most important attractions of Singapore are Botanic Garden, the Zoo, and Sentosa. All three interests are excellent whether you’re traveling alone or with family.

1. Singapore Zoo

Escape to this natural wilderness where you can see giraffes, white tigers, and flying squirrels at the Zoo and bats on the night safari. The Zoo has an expansive facility broken up into 11 different zones and 12 exhibits. Along with exhibitions, visitors can also attend animal shows, go on a night safari, or even feed some of the animals. The Zoo is so well-maintained that both adults and kids are equally entertained.

2. Singapore Botanic Garden

Botanic Garden of Singapore is just a short walk from the retail frenzy of Orchard Road, where you can do your souvenir shopping. The garden is around 52 acres, including lakes, fountains, well-manicured lawns, and sculpture gardens. The major highlight of the botanic garden is the National Orchid Garden, which boasts the largest display of tropical orchids in the world. They cultivated over 1,000 species and 2,000 hybrid orchids. Other highlights are the Evolution Garden and the Rainforest – a 6-acre slice of the original rainforest that once covered the island of Singapore. Moreover, the Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden includes a maze, treehouse, secret cave, and suspension bridge.

3. Singapore Flyer

Singapore’s Flyer is Asia’s giant observation wheel, located in the heart of downtown Marina Bay. The wheel is high on thrills for both locals as well as tourists. It gives a one-of-a-kind experience and is built over a 3-story terminal building. With a diameter of 150 meters, a height of 165 meters, and a speed of 0.21 meters per second, the Flyer is 30 meters taller than the famous London Eye. It offers breathtaking views of Singapore’s River, Marina Bay, Empress Place, Raffles Place, and the Padang. Visitors will experience a radically different experience day and night. It’s tough to choose which time is best to hop on the Ferris wheel.
