Disabled Facilities

Viking provides facilities for guests with disabilities, but all travelers should be aware of the potential challenges both onboard and during shore excursions. Guests are encouraged to inform the cruise line of any special needs at the time of reservation. Please note that animals are not accommodated, except for certified service animals.

Dietary Requirements

Special dietary needs should be communicated before departure and confirmed with the maître d’ once onboard. Viking can accommodate requests such as diabetic-friendly, gluten-free, and low-cholesterol meals. Vegetarian options are always available, and chefs make every reasonable effort to meet guests’ dietary preferences.

Age Restrictions

Children under the age of 12 cannot be accommodated on Viking cruises. The cruise line also reserves the right to limit the number of guests aged 12 to 18 onboard. Additionally, all guests under 18 must share a cabin with a parent or guardian.

Drinks Packages

Complimentary wine, beer, and soft drinks are included with lunch and dinner. Guests who would like premium cocktails, wines, or spirits may purchase an upgraded beverage package.

Smoking & E-Cigarette Policy

Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes are only permitted in designated outdoor areas onboard. Guests are expected to follow this policy carefully to ensure the comfort and safety of fellow travelers.
