Carnival Miracle Launches 2025 Europe Season After Major Refurbishment

Carnival Cruise Line’s Carnival Miracle is now sailing through Europe for the summer 2025 season after wrapping up a scheduled drydock in Cádiz, Spain. The ship returned to service on May 11, welcoming its first passengers aboard in Lisbon, Portugal.

The Carnival Miracle received a wide range of updates during its time in drydock. Among the most notable is the Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge, now available on 15 Carnival ships. This special venue honors U.S. military personnel and veterans, offering a space for relaxation and remembrance.

Guests can also enjoy the new Carnival Adventures store, which provides a modern setting to browse and book shore excursions during their cruise.

Foodies will appreciate the addition of a dedicated Chef’s Table venue on Deck 1. This private dining room offers an upgraded atmosphere for Carnival’s signature multi-course chef-hosted dinner.

For guests looking to capture memories, the Dreams Studio has been redesigned with new backdrops and equipment, giving a fresh touch to professional photography sessions on board.

Several popular spots across the ship have been refreshed, including the Cloud 9 Spa, Serenity adult-only retreat, Club O2, Java Blue Café, and the Lido Marketplace. These areas now feature updated designs, modern touches, and enhanced comfort.

Other additions include a redesigned mini-golf course and nightclub, both with new layouts. The casino has been expanded, offering more space and machines. Family-friendly spaces like Camp Ocean and Club O2 were also upgraded with brighter interiors and more engaging features for kids and teens.

The ship’s first cruise after drydocking is a seven-night sailing from Lisbon, visiting La Coruña and Bilbao in Spain, Le Verdon (Bordeaux) and Le Havre (Paris) in France, before ending in Dover, England.

From Dover, Carnival Miracle will continue with nine- and 12-day cruises to destinations across the British Isles, Scandinavia, and Northern Europe throughout the summer.

Later this summer, the ship will reposition to Civitavecchia (Rome). From there, it will sail a variety of Mediterranean itineraries, including stops in Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Greece, and Turkey.

In November 2025, the Carnival Miracle will leave Europe and return to the United States. It will begin homeporting from Tampa, Florida, offering six- to eight-day cruises to the Bahamas and Caribbean for the winter season.

With fresh updates and a busy schedule of itineraries, the Carnival Miracle is ready to deliver new experiences for guests across Europe and the Caribbean in the year ahead.
