New features will be added to the Carnival Pride in April.
After spending nearly a month at a Spanish shipyard, the 2001-built vessel will resume service on May 28.
During drydock, Carnival Cruise Line plans to add new bars, updated equipment, a new steakhouse, and more to the 2,100-guest ship.
Pride will feature the Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge, a venue that salutes the US military, like the other four ships in the fleet.
The new equipment will be added to the Cloud 9 Spa and Fitness Center, creating a unique ambiance.
As part of Carnival’s new hull livery, the ship will have a Carnival Adventures shop and a Dreams Photography Studio.
The company says the red, white, and blue hull design pays homage to the brand’s patriotic colors.
After the refit, Carnival Pride will embark on 15 European cruises through late October.
There are sailings to the Mediterranean and Northern Europe from Dover, UK, Barcelona, Spain, and Civitavecchia, Italy, with departures from Dover, UK, and Barcelona, Spain.
Upon returning to the United States in November, the Carnival Pride winter program will occur in the Western Caribbean.
The itinerary includes Puerto Rico, Honduras, and the Cayman Islands for a roundtrip cruise from Tampa.
Upon repositioning to Baltimore in April 2024, the ship will begin a year-round program of the Caribbean, Bermuda, Bahamas, Canada, New England, and more cruises.
