A new culinary experience will be offered on Sun Princess when it debuts early next year, according to Princess Cruises.

A total of 29 new dining options and lounges will be available on board the ship.

A cornerstone of the Princess experience is exceptional food and drink at an exceptional value. “Sun Princess enhances Princess Cruises’ entire portfolio of offers by providing breathtaking views, ocean views and sunshine, ice and wildlife, as well as restaurants, bars and sundecks,” said Princess Cruises president John Padgett. In addition to serving vibrant flavors, our chefs will craft exquisite cocktails and provide unparalleled personalized service.”

Among the new dining options are Umai Teppanyaki featuring a captivating performance, and ‘Malley’s Irish Pub, which reimagines the classic Irish pub concept with a captivating performance, as well as Rudi Sodamin’s seafood in The Catch by Rudi.

In the meantime, the Promenade serves delicious pizzas, burgers, hot dogs, bagels, and ice cream. The Promenade introduces a fresh perspective with its Promendade Slice pizzas, gourmet burgers, and flavorful hotdogs.

There is much to discover at the Wheelhouse Bar, from a variety of classic tunes to the warm ambiance of the Wheelhouse Bar, to the delightful authenticity of Alfredo’s Pizzeria.

In the Horizons Dining Room, guests can enjoy stunning wake views and natural light, highlighted by a decorative sculpture extending from deck 6 to deck 8. Guests will receive multicourse meals from friendly waitstaff at Horizons, with each level offering its own personality and offering a variety of dining experiences. Breakfast dishes include Smoked Salmon Omelet and Swedish Pancakes; lunch dishes include Corn Chowder with a Signature Burger, Cobb Salad, or Quinoa Salmon Poke Bowl; and dinner starters include Lamb Leg Provençale, Redfish Caponata, and Cauliflower Steak with Tahini, Couscous, and Asparagus.

Suite accommodations in the Signature Collection are equipped with the Signature Restaurant (Deck 7) and Signature Lounge (Decks 15/16), while guests staying in the Reserve Collection of mini suites and cabana cabins will have access to the Reserve Collection Restaurant (Deck 7).

A new high-end specialty restaurant on Deck 17 overlooking the scenic wake of the ship and a mysterious experience that has been hinted at behind an unmarked black door midship are two additional venues Princess has not yet revealed information about.
