Disabled Facilities
Wheelchair Assistance
- Wheelchair and boarding assistance are available for guests with mobility disabilities.
- Guests who are blind can also request assistance.
- Assistance should be requested at the pier or before the cruise for priority support.
- During busy times, wait times may occur.
- Crew members are not allowed to lift guests.
Priority Processing
- Guests with mobility disabilities receive faster processing at the pier.
- Priority boarding is available if general boarding hasn’t begun.
Accessible Transfers
- Accessible transportation between the airport and the pier is available upon request.
- This service is free for guests who have purchased transfers.
- Availability may be limited or unavailable outside the U.S.
Onboard Wheelchairs
- Free wheelchairs are provided for boarding and disembarkation.
- Guests may bring their own or rent wheelchairs or scooters for use during the cruise.
Mobility Devices

- Segways® are not permitted on the ship for safety reasons.

Smoking Policy
Smoking Policy Onboard
- All ships are non-smoking for guest comfort, including no use of hookahs or water pipes.
- Smoking is not allowed in any stateroom or on stateroom balconies.
- A cleaning fee will be charged for violations of this policy.
- Smoking is not permitted in dining venues, theaters, bars, lounges, hallways, elevators, jogging tracks, or most indoor areas.
- It’s also not allowed in certain outdoor areas like food venues, kids’ play zones, and pool decks.
Designated Smoking Areas
- Specific areas on the ship are set aside for smoking.
- Clear signs and ashtrays mark these areas for convenience.
- Guests can ask Guest Services to locate designated smoking spots.
Casino Smoking
- On itineraries where smoking is allowed, the casino will have marked areas for smokers and non-smokers.
Cigars, Pipes, and E-Cigarettes
- Cigar and pipe smoking are only allowed in designated outdoor areas or cigar bars, if available.
- E-cigarettes can be used only in designated smoking areas.
Tobacco Rules
- Tobacco products must be disposed of properly—never thrown overboard.
- Guests must be at least 18 years old to buy, carry, or use tobacco on board.

- High-wattage bulbs are being replaced with fluorescent and LED lights across the fleet.
- These bulbs use 80% less energy, generate 50% less heat, and last much longer.
- They also reduce the strain on air conditioning systems, making ships more energy efficient.

- New hull designs and propulsion systems help save energy.
- Ships use Common Rail Diesel Engines to cut down on fuel use and NOx emissions at all engine loads.
Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning
- Ships feature the most efficient air-conditioning systems available.
- Smart system design and automation make cooling and heating more efficient.
Operational Conservation Measures
- Environmental policies guide crew and staff in daily conservation practices.
- Guests and crew are encouraged to turn off unused lights, water, and appliances, adjust thermostats, and reuse towels and linens to save resources.
Fresh Water Consumption
- Water-saving features like sink aerators, low-flow dishwashers, and efficient laundry systems are installed fleetwide.
- These upgrades help reduce the energy used to produce fresh water.
Advanced Wastewater Purification
- Advanced systems clean onboard wastewater to a high standard.
- Treated water meets or exceeds discharge regulations around the world.
Renewable Energy Sources
- Solar panels are installed to cut down on fossil fuel use.
- A 500m² solar array can power guest elevators or around 7,000 LED lights.
High-Efficiency Appliances
- Energy-efficient appliances are used throughout the ship.
- Items like TVs, ovens, dishwashers, and coffee machines are chosen for low energy impact.
Energy-Efficient Windows
- Special window films help block solar heat from entering cabins.
- This reduces air conditioning needs and helps save energy.
Hull Coatings
- Eco-friendly silicone paint is applied to the hull.
- A smoother hull reduces drag in the water, cutting down on energy use while sailing.
Dress Code
During the Day – Shoreside
- In warm climates, pack swimsuits, cover-ups, walking shorts, lightweight slacks, skirts, sundresses, and a light sweater or jacket.
- Don’t forget hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
- For cooler destinations, bring layers like sweaters, long-sleeved shirts, pants, waterproof jackets, gloves, hats, and umbrellas.
- Choose appropriate shoes and gear for your planned excursions and terrain, such as water shoes for hikes or modest attire for religious sites.
During the Day – Shipboard
- Around the ship, casual resort wear is ideal—sundresses, polos, button-down shirts, shorts, sandals, loafers, or low heels.
- Bring gym wear and sneakers if you plan to use the fitness center.
- At the pool, bathing suits with cover-ups, tanks, T-shirts, hats, and sunglasses are welcome.
- In dining venues, swimsuits, see-through cover-ups, robes, bare feet, tank tops, T-shirts, and baseball caps are not allowed.
At Night – Smart Casual
- Smart Casual is required in the main dining room, specialty restaurants, and the Celebrity Theatre.
- This means wearing a dress, skirt, long pants, or jeans with a stylish top or button-down.
- Shorts and flip-flops are not considered Smart Casual.
Evening Chic
- One to two nights per cruise feature “Evening Chic,” a more formal dress code.
- Guests are encouraged to dress glamorously in cocktail dresses, skirts, slacks, elegant tops, blazers, or designer jeans.
- Some guests choose tuxedos or gowns for formal photos.
- If you prefer not to dress up, Smart Casual is still acceptable in dining areas and the theater on Evening Chic nights.
- The daily program will include details about evening attire.
Wi-Fi & Internet Access
Basic Wi-Fi Package
- Allows web browsing, sending emails, and texting via select messaging apps.
- Ideal for staying connected with simple online tasks while on vacation.
- Does not support emailing large files, social media photo/video sharing, streaming apps, or video calls.
- Available for purchase before the cruise or included with All Included packages.
Premium Wi-Fi Package
- Supports streaming videos, movies, music, and binge-worthy shows anywhere on the ship.
- Lets you message and video chat with family and friends.
- Enables sending emails with large attachments and posting on social media freely.
- Allows streaming from your device to your in-stateroom TV.
Age Restrictions
Infant and Youth Policy
- Infants must be at least 6 months old on the first day of the cruise or cruise tour.
- Some cruises require infants to be 12 months old.
Children and Teens Activities
- Activities are available for kids and teens ages 3 to 17.
- Children must be fully potty trained (no diapers or pull-ups) to join activities.
Youth Program Sign-In
- Children ages 3 to 9 must be signed in and out by a parent or guardian.
- Kids ages 10 to 12 can come and go but must sign themselves in and out.
- Teens 13 to 17 may come and go freely without signing in or out.
Alcohol Policy
Alcohol Consumption Policy
- Drinking excess alcohol can impair judgment and the ability to avoid danger. Guests must drink responsibly.
- Ship staff can refuse to serve alcohol to anyone they believe is not drinking responsibly.
- Staff may check IDs to confirm guests are of legal drinking age.
- Adults are not allowed to give alcohol to minors or young adults.
- All drinking games are banned onboard.
Minimum Drinking Age
- On ships sailing from North America, UAE, or private destinations, the minimum age to drink or have alcohol is 21.
- On ships sailing from South America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, the minimum age is 18.
- In other cases, the home port’s drinking age rules apply.
Age Verification and Birthdays
- Age is determined at the start of the cruise.
- If a guest turns to the legal drinking age during the cruise, they can ask Guest Services to update their records.
- Guests must show valid government IDs to confirm their age.
Bringing Alcohol Onboard
- Guests cannot bring alcohol onboard except on embarkation day.
- On embarkation day, guests of legal drinking age may bring one sealed 750 ml bottle of wine or champagne.
- Boxed wine and other containers are not allowed.
- Security may inspect and remove alcohol hidden in other containers.
- Alcohol bought onboard or at ports must be given to security when re-boarding; it will be returned before the cruise ends.
- Guests under the legal drinking age will not get alcohol returned.
Responsibility Ashore
- Guests who drink ashore must drink responsibly and stay aware of safety.
- Parents or guardians are responsible for their minor or young adult children at all times during the cruise.
