Carnival Cruise Line offers something special for every age, including babies, kids, and teens. From creative playtime for toddlers to exciting clubs for older kids and teens, there’s always something fun happening. With age-appropriate programs, trained staff, and plenty of games, music, and learning, young cruisers stay entertained while parents enjoy their time too. It’s all about making sure the whole family has a fun and stress-free vacation.
Carnival makes cruising fun for even the littlest guests. Babies and toddlers under two, called “Turtles®”, can enjoy dancing, crafts, storytime with Dr. Seuss®, sensory play, and Zumbini® classes. Everything is led by trained childcare staff and made for their age. Sometimes, they can join older kids at Camp Ocean® or attend Night Owls™, so parents can relax while knowing their child is safe and having fun.
Camp Ocean is a fun place for kids to enjoy group activities while cruising. They’re split into small age groups: Penguins (2–5), Stingrays (6–8), and Sharks (9–11). Kids get to do crafts, games, singing, movies, dancing, and even video games. They also eat together with kid-friendly meals like mac and cheese. Friendly staff are always around to help, and Night Owls™ lets kids stay up late for more fun.
Circle “C®” is the hangout spot for teens aged 12 to 14. It’s a cool place where they can relax, meet other teens, and enjoy fun activities. Carnival offers things like dance parties, games, outdoor movies, and more. Some events happen in the Circle “C” lounge, while others take place around the ship. Everything is supervised by fun, friendly staff to make sure everyone has a good time.
Club O2® is just for teens aged 15 to 17. It’s a place where they can do their own thing while parents relax. Teens can hang out, watch movies, play games, sing karaoke, or just enjoy music. Sometimes there’s even a teen prom! It’s a fun space where high schoolers can be themselves, meet new friends, and enjoy their vacation in a relaxed and cool environment.
Kids love staying up late, and Night Owls™ make that extra fun. For a small fee, kids aged 11 and under can play games, listen to music, and enjoy late-night parties until 1 a.m. It’s all supervised, so parents can enjoy their evening knowing their kids are having a great time with others their age in a safe, playful space made just for them.
Teens can learn about new cultures with Carnival’s See The World events. These fun activities teach about holidays and traditions from around the globe. Teens may try things like Bollywood dance, anime art, or flower parades. Each event celebrates something different, like Holi from India, the Cherry Blossom Festival from Japan, or Panagbenga from the Philippines. It’s a great way for teens to discover the world in a fun way.
Kids aged 2 to 11 can take part in space-themed fun through Carnival’s Space Cruisers™ program. In partnership with the Kennedy Space Center, this program brings space science to life. Kids at Camp Ocean get to build Mars Rovers, play space bingo, learn about orbits, and even earn a special mission patch. Each age group has different hands-on activities that help young cruisers dream big about the stars and planets.
Zumbini® is a music and movement class for kids aged 2 to 5. It’s a 30-minute session filled with songs, instruments, and dancing, created by Zumba® and BabyFirst™. Each Carnival cruise includes free Zumbini fun for little ones to enjoy. On cruises six days or longer, there’s even a Family Zumbini class where parents join in, too, making it a special bonding time for everyone while staying active together.
