Disabled Facilities

• MSC Cruises offers the best facilities for all guests, including those with reduced mobility or disabilities.
• Most of the excursions are fully accessible by wheelchair.
• In-house staff is trained to assist passengers with disabilities.
• The restaurant doors and cabins are easily accessible by a disabled person.

Medical Facilities

• MSC fleets are well-equipped with medical facilities, but passengers are requested to bring their medicines and put them in their hand luggage.
• A medical center is open at the time advertised in the booklet, though it cannot handle birth or pregnancy complications.
• For safety reasons, women who have reached or exceeded the 24th week of pregnancy by the end of the cruise cannot be admitted.

Dietary Requirements

• MSC offers all types of special dietary requirements, including gourmet, kosher, gluten-free, and more.
• Vegetarian menus with freshly prepared specialties are available onboard, along with pre-packed kosher meals.

Dress Code

• Casual wear is advised for life onboard and shore excursions.
• For Gala evenings and parties, a slightly more formal dress is recommended.
• For formal evenings, cocktail dresses are for ladies, and a lightweight suit or dinner jacket is for the gentlemen.
• Appropriate clothing is recommended for visiting religious sites. For example, no low-cut tops, and shoulders and knees should be covered.

Smoking Policy

• There are specially designated areas on each vessel for smoking.
• Smoking or e-cigarettes are not permitted in cabins, balconies, or anywhere not expressly indicated by signage and ashtrays.
• Repeated smoking in non-smoking areas can lead to disembarkation.

Wi-Fi

• Wi-Fi is available onboard at an additional cost.
• There are three Wi-Fi packages – Standard Internet, Premium Internet, and Chat & Social.
• All three packages keep you connected with the world on land while you're at sea.

Onboard Languages

• Crew members use six different languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, and Brazilian Portuguese.
• The cabin information booklets and other printed materials are available in these six languages.
• The menus in restaurants are also in these languages, depending on the fleet's location.
