The Smoking Policy

• Smoking onboard Zaandam is permitted in specified outdoor areas only.
• Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is not allowed in guest cabins, suites, or on their balconies.
• Smoking is also prohibited in most interior public spaces due to guest comfort and fire safety concerns.

Wi-Fi

• Wi-Fi is available throughout Zaandam for a fee.
• Internet packages support social media, light browsing, streaming, and video-calling.

Medical Centers

• The ship is equipped with a medical center staffed by qualified doctors and nurses.
• Medical services are charged based on the nature of treatment, including consultation and care.

• Daytime dress code is resort casual.
• Evenings alternate between smart casual and formal wear:
  • Smart casual: dresses, slacks, collared shirts

• Guests with dietary needs (vegetarian, gluten-free, diabetic, kosher, low sodium, etc.) should notify Holland America at least 90 days prior to sailing.
