MSC Cruises has shared fresh details about the upcoming features of its newest ship, the MSC World Asia, ahead of its Mediterranean debut in late 2026. The cruise line has focused on enhancing family-friendly spaces and poolside experiences with the revamp of two key districts: the Harbour and the AquaDeck.

Revamped Harbour: An Asian-Inspired Outdoor Family Oasis

The Harbour district is set to become a standout feature of the ship, offering a reimagined outdoor park experience designed for families. The design reflects the Asian-inspired theme of the MSC World Asia, blending cultural motifs with entertainment and leisure amenities.

Key highlights include:

• A swing ride and high ropes course for adventurous fun
• A large aquapark for kids and families
• Snack bars and casual dining options
• The largest dry slide onboard a cruise ship adds a unique thrill
• Play Deck, an innovative outdoor space combining seating areas with interactive elements for children, encourages family connection and social engagement

This revamped Harbour is designed to be more than just a play area, it aims to be a hub for family interaction, relaxation, and entertainment.

AquaDeck District: Redesigned Pools and Relaxation Spaces

The AquaDeck district will undergo a major redesign to elevate the ship’s poolside experience. With a total of seven pools and 13 whirlpool baths across the MSC World Asia, this district focuses on both outdoor and indoor aquatic experiences.
