The Grand Prize winner of Carnival Cruise Line‘s Your Winning Plan competition for travel advisors was announced in Houston, Texas, at the grand finale.

Among more than 1000 submissions, Kimberly Stanley of Adventure by Kim in Tupelo, Mississippi, was announced as the winning plan by ABC’s Shark Tank’s Daymond John.

Aside from the $2,500 award that all semi-finalists received, Stanley received $5,000 as well. Following a conversation with Adolfo Perez, Carnival Cruise Line’s senior vice president of global sales and trade marketing, John announced the winner.

Each business plan was judged by a panel from Carnival, the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) and the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA), who considered creativity and the ability to drive business results.
