Carnival ships go on longer journey cruises to Hawaii

By Cruise Booking Team

Two Carnival Cruise Line ships recently departed on the West Coast for an extended tour to Hawaii.

Through the Carnival Journeys program, the 15-night itineraries are manifested on the Carnival Legend and the Carnival Spirit.

The Carnival Legend began its cruise to Hawaii on Sept. 21, 2025, sailing from San Francisco.

Ensenada in Mexico is an additional port of call for the vessel apart from stops in Kahului in Maui, Honolulu in Oahu, Nawiliwili in Kauai, and Hilo.

Before docking back in its homeport in California, it will also spend its nine full days drifting away in the Pacific Ocean.

Right about then, the Vanguard cruise leader took off out of Seattle on Sep. 26, 2025, bound for a 15-night journey to Hawaii.

The cruise uses the opportunity offered by a summer season klatch to cover five destinations, with some of those in Honolulu, Kahului Nawiliwili, and Hilo.

On the return journey toward Seattle, the ship, built-in 2001, has also been scheduled to make brief calls to Victoria, British Columbia.

Having completed their Carnival Journeys to Hawaii, the Legend and the Spirit shall then move on to cruises through the Panama Canal.

Moving from the Gulf Coast for the 2025-26 winter season, the ships sail their ways to Texas and Louisiana, respectively.

These Galveston-bound cruises for 16 nights include stops at the Mexican, Costa Rican, Colombian, and Cayman Island ports, while the Carnival Spirit makes its sail from Seattle to New Orleans.

Carnival, however, states that the ship being prepared for winter will sail from Mobile for a 16-night cruise featuring Mexican, Costa Rican, and Colombian ports of call.

The Journeys program is said by Carnival to have longer sailings with innovative itineraries and less common destinations.

Carnival also points out that these cruises will present additional enriching and destination-oriented experiences while still offering a “classic cruising feel.”
