Celebrity Cruises has unveiled its 2026 President’s Cruise, an exclusive eight-night Mediterranean voyage aboard the brand-new Celebrity Xcel. Scheduled to sail from September 13 to 21, 2026, this special itinerary will take guests from Athens to Barcelona, with stops in iconic destinations including Mykonos, Rhodes, Santorini, Ephesus, and Malta.
The President’s Cruise is an annual tradition designed to honor Celebrity Cruises’ most loyal guests, members of the Captain’s Club. President Laura Hodges Bethge and her executive team will join the voyage, offering guests exclusive onboard events, immersive shore excursions, and behind-the-scenes experiences.
Bethge emphasized the importance of this cruise, stating that the feedback received during these sailings is instrumental in shaping the future of Celebrity Cruises’ guest experience.
The 2026 President’s Cruise will be the first of its kind aboard the Celebrity Xcel, the newest addition to the Celebrity Cruises fleet. Launching in late 2025, the Xcel will feature innovative spaces like The Bazaar, a multi-floor venue inspired by global festivals, offering markets, crafts, dining, and performances that adapt to the ship’s destinations.
The 2025 President’s Cruise took guests through the Norwegian Fjords aboard the Celebrity Apex, featuring exclusive events such as a gala at London’s Natural History Museum, a private tour of Kensington Palace, and unique shore excursions like kayaking in Geiranger Fjord and a helicopter ride over Pulpit Rock.
