Royal Caribbean International is offering incentives for guests willing to modify their upcoming cruise bookings. Following a similar initiative for an April Mediterranean cruise on Allure of the Seas, the company is now once again providing change-of-booking options to passengers booked on a June 2, 2025, seven-night Alaska and Canada voyage aboard Quantum of the Seas, departing from Seattle. The itinerary includes visits to Tracy Arm Fjord, Juneau, Skagway, and Sitka.
In a statement, Royal Caribbean said to their guests, “We are looking to see if you and your travel party have flexible travel arrangements.”
They further enticed them, “If your plans are set in stone, please mark this email as ‘read’ and gear up for your upcoming adventure – although there are some pretty sweet options below.”
Company explained further that guests can choose to transfer their booking to one of four alternative Quantum of the Seas sailings, including similar cruises in July and September 2025. Those who switch will receive a full refund of their cruise fare, pre-paid packages, and shore excursions, along with a complimentary transfer to the same cabin category on the new sailing.
Alternatively, passengers can cancel their reservation for a full refund plus a 100 percent Future Cruise Credit (FCC) valid for another Royal Caribbean sailing. For both options, the company will reimburse non-refundable, pre-purchased travel expenses, such as hotel and flight change or cancellation fees.
Quantum of the Seas is one of four Royal Caribbean ships sailing in Alaska, alongside Anthem of the Seas, Radiance of the Seas, and Serenade of the Seas, offering diverse itineraries in the region.
