Princess Cruises Announces 2026-27 South America & Antarctica Season

By Cruise Booking Team

Princess Cruises has officially opened bookings for its 2026-27 South America and Antarctica cruise season, with sailings aboard the 3,560-guest Majestic Princess. This new season will run from November 2026 to January 2027, offering travelers six departures across five unique itineraries, ranging from 15 to 33 days.

A major highlight of the season is the cruise line’s return to Antarctica, where guests can enjoy rare scenic cruising around the Antarctic Peninsula. Two sailings feature overnight scenic experiences in the region, providing incredible views of icy landscapes, glaciers, and wildlife from the comfort of a Royal-Class ship.

Guests will also experience new scenic routes such as Glacier Alley and the fjords of the Beagle Channel, areas known for their raw natural beauty. The itineraries include visits to 17 destinations across 10 countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Uruguay. Ten of these stops are UNESCO World Heritage Sites, such as the Peninsula Valdés in Puerto Madryn and Sitio Roberto Burle Marx in Rio de Janeiro.

Itineraries include a 15-day Cape Horn and Glaciers of Patagonia cruise featuring scenic cruising an overnight in Buenos Aires, and a 17-day sailing with four full days spent near the Antarctic region. There’s also an 18-day Brazilian Adventure itinerary, which explores Rio de Janeiro, Uruguay, Barbados, and Buenos Aires.

Princess Cruises emphasized its membership in the International Association of Antarctic Tour Operators (IAATO), noting its commitment to safe and environmentally responsible travel in one of the most remote places on Earth.

The 2026-27 South America and Antarctica season on Majestic Princess is now available to book, offering guests a rare chance to witness some of the world’s most untouched and spectacular landscapes.
