A press release said that MSC Cruises has extended its partnership with Formula 1 through the 2026 FIA Formula 1 World Championship as its Official Cruise Partner.
According to Pierfrancesco Vago, chairman and CEO of MSC Cruises, Formula 1 and the company are great partners on many levels. Additionally, we are both striving for sustainable change. Building the future of our industries is vital to us, as is leaving a lasting legacy for future generations. It is an honor for us both to work at the forefront of our industries and help to make a difference in the world. This is why we want to be a long-term partner of Formula 1 and have extended our sponsorship as a Global Partner. As this partnership grows, we look forward to seeing it flourish.
This partnership will involve MSC Cruises offering unique hospitality experiences on select Grand Prix weekends on its ships.
During Abu Dhabi’s final Formula 1 round in 2023, the MSC Virtuosa will offer fans and VIPs accommodation, hospitality, and transportation packages.
The program will expand to include more ships in 2024 and beyond. As a title sponsor of the Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix in 2023, MSC Cruises will also announce more title sponsorships during the Formula 1 season in 2024.
MSC Cruises and Formula 1 both share a commitment to innovation and excellence, said Stefano Domenicali, president and CEO of Formula 1. Together, we have achieved exceptional results and look forward to enhancing the relationship further. In sports and hospitality, together we’ll set new benchmarks.
