MSC Cruises has officially opened sales for its newest ship, the MSC World Atlantic, which is scheduled to debut from Port Canaveral, Florida, in November 2027. The ship will offer alternating seven-night and 14-night sailings across the Eastern and Western Caribbean, giving travelers flexible options for both short and extended Caribbean vacations.
Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises, expressed his excitement about the ship’s deployment from Port Canaveral. He highlighted that this move underscores the company’s commitment to providing U.S. and international guests with modern, state-of-the-art ships.
“Port Canaveral is a central hub with easy connections for travelers from around the world, making it the perfect gateway for our newest ship,” he said. Onorato also noted that MSC World Atlantic, like every new ship launched by MSC, will introduce innovative features, new venues, and attractions that will raise the bar for Caribbean cruising.
According to a press release, MSC World Atlantic will feature more than 38,000 square meters of public space, giving guests plenty of room to enjoy a wide range of experiences. Dining and nightlife will be a major highlight, with 40 bars, restaurants, and lounges onboard.
One standout venue is the new Viva La Musica lounge bar, dedicated to Latin culture, where guests can enjoy live music, salsa dancing, and handcrafted cocktails, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere.
The ship will be divided into seven distinct onboard districts, each offering unique experiences for travelers of all ages. Adventure seekers will be drawn to the Cliffhanger, an over-water swing that lifts riders 50 meters above the ocean, promising a thrilling experience. Additional attractions are planned and will be announced closer to the ship’s launch.
MSC World Atlantic also caters to families and young travelers. The Harbour, located in the Family Aventura District, serves as an outdoor theme park, while the Doremiland Kids Club introduces two new Lego areas for children and teens aged 0 to 17.
Luxury travelers can enjoy the MSC Yacht Club, a keycard-only area with a dedicated lounge, private restaurant, pool, sun deck, and 24-hour concierge services. The ship offers 144 suites and VIP amenities at Ocean Cay, including private access to Ocean House Beach.
Wellness and relaxation will be at the forefront with the MSC Aurea Spa, which features one of the largest thermal areas in MSC’s fleet. Guests can also enjoy immersive entertainment in the Panorama Lounge, a two-deck venue that transforms into a theater with international shows and LED displays.
With its combination of advanced attractions, luxury amenities, family activities, and entertainment, MSC World Atlantic promises to offer an exciting and memorable Caribbean cruise experience when it begins sailing from Port Canaveral in late 2027.
