On July 18, 2025, the Majestic Princess departed Southampton, England, for a 15-night trans-Atlantic repositioning cruise to Boston, marking the start of its first-ever Canada and New England fall foliage season. Operated by Princess Cruises, the ship’s itinerary includes stops in Reykjavik, Isafjord, and Grundarfjordur in Iceland, as well as Charlottetown, Sydney, and Halifax in Canada.
Upon reaching Boston, the Majestic Princess will commence roundtrip seven-night cruises exploring Canada and New England, with visits to Portland, Halifax, Sydney, Eastport, and Saint John. In September, the ship will also offer open-jaw itineraries between Quebec City and Boston.
Following its East Coast deployment, the 141,000-ton vessel will reposition to Fort Lauderdale for a 2025-26 winter season in the Caribbean. Before arriving in Florida, it will sail a 14-night “Canada and Colonial America” itinerary from Quebec City to Port Everglades, visiting Saguenay, Charlottetown, Sydney, Halifax, Boston, New York City, Newport, and Norfolk. From Fort Lauderdale, the Royal-class ship will offer six- to eight-night cruises to the Western, Southern, and Eastern Caribbean.
Built in 2017 at the Fincantieri shipyard for the Asian market, the 3,600-guest Majestic Princess underwent a significant refurbishment in Italy earlier this year before its Mediterranean debut. The modernization introduced new venues and dining options, including O’Malley’s Irish Pub, Bellini’s Cocktail Bar, Ocean Terrace Sushi Bar, Alfredo’s Slice, and The Salty Dog Grill, alongside reimagined spaces and refined design touches.
