On the new Sun Princess, scheduled to debut in early 2024, Princess Cruises introduced Spellbound by Magic Castle as a new feature. Princess says the new space was created in collaboration with the Hollywood icon to improve the guest experience. An extraordinary Victorian-inspired magic mixology experience will be created by Spellbound, according to the company.

Spellbound is tucked away behind a non-descript door amidst the confines of Princess’ latest ship, where guests will find feats of magic performed by world-class magicians and surprises in themed rooms. The new Sun Princess will take the art of magic around the world with Spellbound by Magic Castle, said Princess Cruises president John Padgett.

Bringing together magic and cruising, Spellbound will become one of the most iconic guest favorites on Sun Princess because it combines the magic of Aphrodite with the thrills of cruising,” he continued. A princess website says Spellbound captures the essence of Hollywood’s Magic Castle with its ornate look incorporating magical artifacts, vintage curios, and interactive features.

The Music Room, adorned with eclectic artifacts and paintings, is the first thing guests see when entering Spellbound. Visitors can meet Isabella, who will tell stories of sailing on Sun Princess in the Music Room. Guests will also have a chance to interact with skilled illusionists to unveil Artemis, the owl, before entering the intimate 30-seat Spellbound theater to witness amazing close-up magic.

In addition to incredible magicians and illusionists, Magic Castle Enterprises is bringing some of the most authentic aspects of The Magic Castle in Hollywood to Sun Princess to provide Princess guests a glimpse of the world-class magic that is showcased at the Magic Castle nightly.

Guests have the opportunity to experience a magical experience reserved only for members and their guests. Spellbound will make its debut on the Sun Princess in February 2024.
