A press release from Silversea says there will be two new Grand Voyages in 2024 due to a high demand for extended sailings.
For 2024, there are two new Grand Voyages:
There are 34 destinations and 13 countries on the Grand Voyage Mediterranean 2024.
Silver Spirit will sail the Mediterranean for 43 days, visiting destinations such as the Iberian Peninsula, Monaco, Croatia, and Israel during its voyage from Lisbon on October 4, 2024. On the journey, you will visit Barcelona, Rome, Monte Carlo, Korcula, Cadiz, Alexandria, Naples, Dubrovnik, and Jerusalem. Athens (Piraeus) is the final port of call on November 16.
There will be 45 destinations, 12 countries, and 66 days on the Grand Indian Ocean Expedition 2024.
We anticipate leaving Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha) on April 4, 2024, for our journey on board the Silver Cloud. After exploring 45 destinations in 12 countries for 66 days, the ship will arrive in Darwin on May 24. Guests can experience wildlife species in Shamwari, South Africa, as well as enjoy the cruise’s Bon Voyage dinner reception during their two-night pre-cruise overland tour. Also on the itinerary is a visit to Kilwa Kisiwani, Tanzania, along with ruins of Malindi Mosque, Fort Gereza, tombs of the sultans, and the Great House. The journey ends with a visit to Australia’s Kimberley region.
In addition to these two new journeys, Silversea offers eight different Grand Voyages in 2024/2025: the Grand Pole-to-Pole Expedition, the Grand South Pacific Expedition, the Grand Pacific 2024, the Grand Mediterranean Expedition, the Grand Indian Ocean Expedition, the Grand South America Expedition, the Grand African and Arabian Expedition, and the Grand Asia Expedition.
