During the ship’s upcoming refurbishment at the San Giorgio del Porto shipyard in Italy, Silversea Cruises will introduce all-new suite categories on board the Silver Endeavor.
Silversea’s senior vice president of marine operations, Roberto Bruzzone, said that Silver Endeavour’s refurbishment will enhance her status as the world’s most luxurious expedition ship.
The cruise experience of our guests is important to us, which is why we are expanding the number of options for accommodation on board by introducing two new suite categories, expanding public spaces, and adding crew space to maintain one of the highest crew-to-guest ratios in the industry. After a successful inaugural Antarctic season, Silver Endeavour will offer deeper connections and greater destination reach in the Arctic starting in June 2023.”A press release states that Silversea will introduce two new suite categories for guests, six upper suites on deck eight and four suites on deck five.
Guests will have the option of two Master Suites and four Signature Suites on board the cruise ship. There will be four Classic Veranda Suites on deck five, replacing the medical center that has been relocated from deck four to deck five. From their verandas and living areas, Master Suites have 270-degree views of the ships aft. Each master suite will feature a king-sized or twin bed, a walk-in closet, a walk-in shower, and a whirlpool tub.
All four Signature Suites will include spacious verandas, king-sized or twin beds, floor-to-ceiling windows, walk-in closets, and walk-in showers in the bathrooms.
They will be located on the ship’s starboard side on deck four, each with a traditional layout.
Silversea is also planning to remove the casino from deck four, which will allow for the addition of four new crew cabins. As a result of the extra cabins, there will be 22 expeditioners on board.
Also, the ship’s French restaurant, La Dame, will receive handcrafted Lalique crystal panels.
Silver Endeavour will begin its inaugural Arctic season on June 3 after two voyages in the British Isles and Iceland following its refurbishment in Genova.
