Viking has launched a new promotion called “The Viking Savings Event,” giving North American travelers more reasons to book destination-focused cruises across its river, ocean, and expedition lineup.
The offer runs from now until January 31, 2026. During this time, guests can save up to 35 percent on all-inclusive voyages. The deal also includes free international airfare on select sailings, a $25 deposit on all itineraries, and extra savings for past Viking guests.
This limited-time event covers select sailings from 2026 to 2028, including river cruises, ocean voyages, and expedition trips.
In a press release, Viking shared that some of its most booked itineraries are part of this event.
Grand European Tour
This 15-day river cruise sails from Amsterdam to Budapest. Guests enjoy views of the Rhine Valley, food and wine from the Wachau Valley, traditional music in Vienna, Melk’s famous Benedictine Abbey, and key World War II sites in Nuremberg.
Rhine Getaway
This eight-day cruise travels from Amsterdam to Basel. Highlights include sailing along the Rhine River and the Middle Rhine, visits to the Alsace region, and stops at places like Kinderdijk with its well-known windmills.
Romantic Danube
This eight-day journey runs from Regensburg to Budapest. The itinerary features Salzburg, Göttweig Abbey, the Wachau Valley, Vienna, and time to enjoy Budapest’s thermal baths.
Lyon & Provence
Sailing for eight days from Avignon to Lyon, this cruise follows the Rhône River through the French countryside. Guests visit Les Arènes d’Arles, the Pont du Gard, the Palace of the Popes in Avignon, and the historic city of Lyon.
Iconic Western Mediterranean
This eight-day ocean cruise sails from Barcelona to Rome (Civitavecchia). It includes stops along the Mediterranean coast in Spain, France, and Italy, with overnights in Barcelona and Tuscany. Other ports include Sète, Monte Carlo, and scenic cruising near Calanques National Park.
