Medical Information
The cruise line's medical centers meet or exceed the standards set by the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) and the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP).
Qualified physicians and nurses staff the medical centers, with staffing levels varying based on the size of the ship.
Ship's physicians meet or exceed credentialing guidelines set by the cruise ship medicine section of ACEP.
Medical facilities on board are equipped with standard lifesaving equipment and advanced medical technology, including defibrillators, external pacemakers, thrombolytic therapy, electrocardiograph machines, lab equipment, pulse oximetry, and x-ray machines.
Medical Emergencies
In the event of a medical emergency, the ship's physician will decide if an air evacuation or emergency disembarkation is necessary.
The Captain is notified immediately to coordinate with the physician and appropriate rescue agencies.
Disembarkation methods may include diverting the ship and transferring the patient to a shore-side medical facility, or using a helicopter or rapid boat when required.
Helipads are not available on the Carnival Cruise Line fleet.
Alcohol Policy and Drinks Packages
The minimum age for the purchase and consumption of alcoholic beverages on board is 21 years.
Guests are limited to purchasing a maximum of 15 alcoholic beverages per person per day.
Guests are prohibited from bringing water, sodas, and other non-alcoholic beverages in glass or plastic bottles.
On embarkation day, guests may bring a small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages (cans or cartons) and one 750 ml bottle of sealed wine or champagne per person in their carry-on luggage.
A corkage fee of $15.00 USD per 750 ml bottle is charged if guests wish to consume their wine or champagne in certain areas.
Bottled water can be purchased before the cruise or on board.
Distilled water is available for purchase, and guests can bring their own distilled water if needed for medical purposes.
Large coolers are prohibited, but small, personal-sized coolers are permitted as carry-on luggage.
Purchasing Liquor During the Cruise
Liquor purchased on board and taken home may be subject to Customs duty and must be declared on the Customs declaration form.
Alcohol purchased ashore or in The Fun Shops ports will be stored for safekeeping until the end of the voyage.

Social Wi-Fi Plan: Access to popular social websites and applications, but excludes streaming services and some apps.

Premium Wi-Fi Plan: Access to all sites from Social and Value plans at the fastest speed.
