The Disney Adventure will start calling on ports in Malaysia as part of its Southeast Asia lineup beginning in late December 2026.
Disney Cruise Line’s newly released deployment plans show the 6,000-passenger ship adding Langkawi to a mix of three- and four-night itineraries. The ship, which sails year-round out of Singapore, has so far only offered short cruises without any ports of call since it debuted in early 2026.
With the addition, guests will now get the chance to step off the ship and take in Langkawi’s rainforests and coastline. Disney says the onboard experience will remain unchanged otherwise, with passengers still able to enjoy the line’s signature touches — Broadway-style shows and the guest service Disney Cruise Line is known for — throughout the 208,000-ton ship.
Alongside the new Malaysia sailings, the Disney Adventure will continue to offer shorter cruises made up entirely of sea days. The ship is expected to keep this year-round Southeast Asia schedule in place through December 2027.
The broader deployment announcement also brings news of Disney’s return to New York City, ending a four-year absence from the homeport. After wrapping its first summer season in Europe, the Disney Wish will relocate to New York, where it will offer itineraries to Canada and Bermuda.
The 2027-28 season brings another first for the line: both the Disney Wish and Disney Fantasy will sail out of Puerto Rico at the same time. Separately, the Disney Destiny is set to move its homeport from Fort Lauderdale to Port Canaveral in late 2027.
Disney is also expanding its presence in the Panama Canal region, with the Disney Magic making its first-ever calls in Colón and Fuerte Amador.
Booking for the new itineraries opens early for Castaway Club members on August 31, 2026, followed by general bookings on September 8.
