Hurtigruten Expeditions will introduce itineraries in 2024 exploring South America’s Patagonian fjords and Antarctica’s ice cap.

In addition to visiting Chilean fjords and South Georgia, Hurtigruten’s new Antarctica expeditions will visit the Falkland Islands as well.

With seven days of Antarctic exploration, the Maud’s 17-day Antarctica, Patagonia, and Chilean Fjords Expedition journey departs from Punta Arenas, Chile on the following dates:

The 22nd of November, the 7th and 22nd of December, 2024

A list of dates for 2025 is as follows: January 6th and 21st, February 5th and 20th

Guests can also get the chance to explore South America, the Falkland Islands, and South Georgia by sailing on Hurtigruten’s Maud on 23- and 24-day voyages from Buenos Aires, Argentina, to Antarctica and Punta Arenas.

Voyage to the Late Summer Sun will depart on March 7, 2025, and Springtime Expedition to Antarctica will depart on November 1, 2024.

In depth Antarctica and Patagonia Expedition departing March 7, 2024, and March 15, 2025, are among the longer Antarctic voyages Fram will make.

In addition to expeditions aboard the Roald Amundsen and Fridjof Nansen (departing on Oct. 17, 2023, and Oct. 21, Nov. 1, 2024), adventure lovers can take advantage of the 18-day Antarctica and Patagonia cruises on board the Roald Amundsen and Fridjof Nansen. With 29 departures combined in 2023, 2024 and 2025, the Highlights of Antarctica itinerary is scheduled to depart for 12 days in each of these dates.

Guests can also choose from six departure dates between January 2024 and February 2025 to explore Antarctica and enjoy whale watch, penguin spotting, hiking, kayaking and ice-cruising aboard the Roald Amundsen.
