Norwegian Cruise Line announced that its newest ship, the Norwegian Aqua, has completed her first sailing to Bermuda from her new seasonal homeport in New York City. This marks the start of a series of round-trip voyages that will continue through October, offering five- and seven-day itineraries to Bermuda’s Royal Naval Dockyard.

Company president Harry Sommer shared his excitement, noting that New York is a key market for the line and that the Aqua will give guests the chance to enjoy onboard experiences before heading ashore to Bermuda’s famous pink beaches and clear waters.

The Norwegian Aqua introduces several unique attractions, including:

• Aqua Slide coaster
• Glow Court
• Aqua Game Zone
• Expanded pool deck and Vibe Beach Club
• Mandara Spa and Salon
• Thermal Suite

Guests can also enjoy 17 different dining options along with a full lineup of entertainment and nightlife venues.

In Bermuda, travelers can look forward to a variety of coastal adventures, watersports, and local cultural experiences. The ship’s schedule allows guests time to explore the island while still enjoying the wide range of amenities onboard.

After completing her New York City season, the Norwegian Aqua will head to Miami in October 2025. From there, she’ll operate:

• Four-day cruises to the Bahamas
• Five-day cruises to the Bahamas and Caribbean
• Seven-day cruises to the Caribbean

These voyages will include stops at Great Stirrup Cay, the cruise line’s private island.

Looking ahead, the ship is set to return to New York in April 2026 for an extended Bermuda season that runs through October of that year.

To celebrate the launch, Norwegian Cruise Line is offering guests 50 percent off all cruises for a limited time.
