Volendam has various accommodation types available, depending upon the different interests and budgets, assuring comfort and relaxation for all visitors. There are 26 different categories of staterooms and suites on the ship, spanning from utilitarian internal cabins to penthouse veranda suites and beyond.
The ship features eight categories of interior staterooms, each approximately 182 square feet. These cabins include a small sitting area, two lower beds that can convert into a double, a private bathroom with a shower, and modern amenities such as a flat-screen TV with DVD player. Interior rooms offer a cozy and affordable retreat.
With eleven classifications, outside staterooms measure around 197 square feet and include a sitting area and bathtub for added comfort. Some cabins may have obstructed views—grade HH cabins have fully blocked windows, while grade DD cabins offer partially obstructed views. These rooms are ideal for those who prefer natural light without needing a balcony.
For guests looking for private outdoor space, five grades of veranda suites are available. These suites measure 284 to 292 square feet (including the balcony) and include a queen-size bed, sleeper sofa (in grade A suites), jacuzzi bathtub, minibar, and refrigerator. They provide a stylish and spacious upgrade.
Deluxe Veranda Suites (Grade S) offer 556 to 563 square feet of upscale comfort. They feature a large seating area, dressing room, spacious veranda, and premium amenities for a more luxurious cruise experience. These suites are perfect for travelers who enjoy elegance and space.
At 1,126 to 1,159 square feet, the Penthouse Veranda Suite is the most expansive and luxurious accommodation aboard Volendam. It includes a large furnished veranda, whirlpool bathtub, private dining area with a pantry, and ample space for entertaining or unwinding in style. This suite offers the ultimate cruise living experience.
