Cunard has recently unveiled its “Cunard Showcases” program, a novel initiative featuring live stage performances, as detailed in a recent press release.

This unique entertainment program, a first in maritime history, has been developed in collaboration with notable theater producers, directors, writers, choreographers, and performers. Exclusively available on Cunard, these shows cover a wide range of genres, from drama and interactive theater to immersive multisensory dining experiences.

Held in the Royal Court Theatre, the Cunard Showcases also include various special events. Guests can delve deeper into the theatrical world with “In conversation with” sessions and workshops featuring renowned stage and screen professionals.

On select sailings, passengers can experience exceptional performances like the original West End cast of “The Drifters Girl” musical in “Kings of the Boardwalk”. The “Opera Cocktail” offers a modern twist on classic opera, featuring famous arias, duets, and ensembles. The “Gulliver” show impresses with its advanced puppetry skills.

For an interactive experience, guests can engage in “Cluedo! The Interactive Game”, transporting them to the glamorous world of the 1930s. Additionally, Queen Elizabeth will host the Circa Contemporary Circus for six weeks, showcasing awe-inspiring acrobatics and theatrical shows, alongside workshops and Q&A sessions.

In a historic first, Cunard will present Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “South Pacific” at sea in March. Additionally, Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night” will be performed in the Pursuit Theatre, offering guests a classic comedic experience.
