Royal Caribbean has officially opened its newest destination, the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, marking a first-of-its-kind beach club experience in the Bahamas. The property welcomed its first guests on December 23, 2025, bringing a fresh and all-inclusive option for cruise passengers visiting Nassau.
Located near the Nassau Cruise Port, the beach club promises an experience that combines the vibrant culture of the Bahamas with Royal Caribbean’s signature style. The property offers a mix of fun, relaxation, and entertainment, designed to suit every type of vacationer.
The opening ceremony followed an official ribbon-cutting event attended by Bahamian government officials, VIPs, community members, and representatives from Royal Caribbean. The celebration highlighted the partnership between the cruise line and the local community in bringing the project to life.
Michael Bayley, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean, said, “Guests told us they were looking for more ways to make the most of their vacations in the Bahamas, and that’s exactly what we’ve created with Royal Beach Club Paradise Island.”
Bayley explained that the beach club was designed to cater to every mood. Guests can enjoy lively beach parties, serene moments on the sand, or poolside fun. The club includes two beaches and three pools, including the family-friendly Shallow End pool and the Deep End pool for those seeking more activity.
One of the standout features is The Floating Flamingo, billed as the world’s largest swim-up bar. Alongside this, the beach club offers ten waterfront bars and three beach grills, giving guests plenty of options for drinks and food throughout the day.
Royal Caribbean emphasized that the new beach club is more than just a fun destination. It was developed responsibly in partnership with the Bahamian government and aims to support the local workforce. The project has created jobs for local businesses and entrepreneurs, and Bahamian culture is visible throughout the property.
From architectural details to live entertainment, artisan shops, and culinary offerings, the club showcases local talent and culture. Guests can enjoy music performances, browse handmade goods, and taste Bahamian-inspired dishes while soaking up the sun.
Passengers visiting Nassau can purchase all-inclusive day passes on Royal Caribbean’s website. These passes provide access to the beach club’s full range of amenities, including lounge chairs, umbrellas, lockers, towels, Wi-Fi, and round-trip transportation on five water ferries.
The Royal Beach Club offers a variety of experiences for every type of visitor. Families can enjoy kid-friendly areas and pools, groups can join lively beach parties, and anyone seeking relaxation can find quiet spots along the sand or by the pool.
With two beautiful beaches and multiple pools, the destination provides plenty of space for everyone. Guests can enjoy sunbathing, swimming, or exploring cultural and entertainment offerings on-site. The club has been designed to make every visit feel special and convenient.
Royal Caribbean describes this opening as the first step in a growing portfolio of beach destinations. The company aims to continue offering unique and immersive experiences that highlight local culture while providing the signature service Royal Caribbean is known for.
The Royal Beach Club Paradise Island is now open for cruise passengers, promising an all-inclusive experience that blends fun, relaxation, and Bahamian charm. Whether visitors want a day of family fun, a party atmosphere, or a calm beach escape, the club has something for everyone.
